The search form does not use the YouTube Data API. It's essentially a link generator. Unfortunately YouTube doesn't offer filters for point 1–4.

You're basically right, it's just a UI for the old search filters, at least for the ones that still work today.

You can try "before:YYYY-MM-DD" in the YouTube search bar. Unfortunately, the YouTube search now ignores some of the old filters. I created a simple form with advanced search filters: https://playlists.at/youtube/search/

You can use Google's video search or use advanced search filters like "intitle:", "description:" directly in YouTube.

You can try to avoid irrelevant search results by using advanced search filters like "intitle:" or "-" to exclude specific words.

Most people don't know that they can use Google Advanced Search search filters on YouTube, so I built it. It's useful if you know the exact upload date for example. It's not really technically challenging, just a simple HTML form.
