Transfer from people who need the money to live to Elon Musk who essentially has infinite money. Makes sense to allow this.

What if you want someone to look at a portion of it but they don't know enough to approve the whole thing. They give +1

Someone else knows the other portion well and sees the +1 and decides to +2.

In practice this ends the stalemate where partial owners don't feel confident to approve the whole thing

Maybe not great for the intended use case but guessing 28g of carbs for a 40g sandwich seems pretty close to me, particularly without knowing the dimensions of the bread etc

Is this really the case though? Currently it appears to benefiting a small few and there is not much reason to think it will change going forward.

If 95% of jobs go away, the destabilization leads to violent conflicts, and power and wealth become more centralized does it really matter if we have better healthcare or automated cars? Will people have purpose in their lives? Will this be a better world for most?

NYC restricts building height to restrict population by land area. There isn't really a need for small apartments since population density is the limiting factor not space. You could build a not much more expensive apartment building instead of a dorm for the same population.

In both job listings and most analyses, equity and / or bonuses are often omitted. It is hard to tell if the same is true here, but in software they can make up such a large portion of the pay that anything omitting it is close to meaningless.

The problem with a national climate disaster relief fund is that there is no incentive structure to push people to protect their property or migrate to less risky areas. We have areas that are destroyed every other year but people keep on rebuilding.

Perhaps as an alternative there could be a national fund with risk adjusted fees that is mandatory in cities that receive services.
