we avoid it very well with our kids but sometimes I am worried it won't make a difference in the long run and we are just doing hard mode for no reason. kids are pretty adaptable. will be interesting to see in 10-15 years.

The job hopping thing was definitely a trend, but I think it died with ZIRP. kinda weird to reference it now, but I guess it does have relevance to the state of some of these older services. The original teams are long gone

Seems crazy to pay for a financial advisor but not an accountant. My accountant is easily some of the best money I spend.

there is this weird addictive thing with AI coding. found myself just sending prompts over and over and hoping the next one would finally get it right. sending a prompt and going and doing something else, but mostly end up with a huge mess

Any data on how much more effective the agent is with rules? For example, asking it to treat me like an expert seems like a waste. I don’t feel like the agent responds to me like a noob
