"Pull requests" are part of git though since it was originally a DCVS it meant you would pull from an individuals git repo ... services like github etc centralized the concept

Nah, IBM watson jeopardy version was a one-off. It was an app specifically tuned for that usecase. IBM Watson is not a single product or app. It is more of a marketing term

Exactly, I don't think ppl understand why programming languages even came about anymore. Lotsa ppl don't understand why a natural language is not suitable for programming and by extension prompting an LLM

nah filesystem snapshots may not lead to consistent DB backups. DB backup software usually use a plugin to tell the DB to coalesce data before taking a snapshot.

I have access to airtel, act broadband, jio fiber, bsnl and earlier hathway and I have switched between them and no one cut my cable and gave me grief ... no mafia present in our and the surrounding areas. Ofc the kinda ppl you talk abt may be there, but we shld not generalize.

Exactly, there is a reason why we don't program in natural languages and use "programming languages" which use a subset of keywords to program. Natural language is too ambiguous and not of use in serious programming.
