You could play 320x200 Quake acceptably on a P60. On a DX4 too, though barely - my family had both in the mid 90s. I'd be surprised if Quake is playable on a DX2.

Like the other commenter has said, the reason there are no such stories is that they would be hypocritical BS, and I'll add, designed to manufacture consent for unlawful military action against a sovereign nation.

The perennially genocidal occupying force controlling all aspects of Palestinian life including forcing them into a subsistence diet, "mowing the lawn" in Gaza every so often, shooting down peaceful unarmed protesters - some of them disabled - and all that before 7/Oct - has no right to complain about terrorism, for it's what it has inflicted on Palestinians for decades.

I didn't mention the crucial point which is that I what I signed up for was writing my own software.

I grew up witnessing Carmack going from Keen to Quake in 5 or 6 years.

That standard gets you attached to the idea that you should be able at some level to individually reach a fraction of the depth and breadth. Sadly, I have neither the energy nor the focus.

But what's the point of getting an LLM to, say, write a raycaster if your point is to learn how to do that yourself? If your mission in life is to learn to build things?

(I hope I'm getting my idea across)

I live with a feeling of nonaccomplishment, never having taken a project to completion thanks to my shitty executive function. The AI craze has robbed me of any hope that I might still meaningfully* achieve this in my career.

Also have 2 8020D's but I skimped on the subwoofer. Probably a bad idea, since they deemphasize the lows so much, but surprisingly I can crank up them up on my mixer's EQ to make up for it without losing clarity.

The best, surest way to protect Israelis from resistance attacks is to end the reason for a resistance in the first place - the apartheid state. If you want Palestine to be free, this should be a no-brainer.
