After 4 months of development, I'm humbled to share my no-code tool called Otak that simplifies WhatsApp chatbot creation without the need for coding or complex flowcharts.

Why did I build this?

Integrating with the WhatsApp Cloud API is notoriously challenging, even for experienced developers. For small businesses and non-technical users, it's often impossible. Despite the many chatbot solutions available, most were built pre-ChatGPT, relying on outdated flow-based approaches rather than RAG. For those that were built post-ChatGPT, WhatsApp integration is often not a priority.

Yes just hearing or reading the word “cockcroach” gives me a cringe. I tried to google the word “cockroach phobia” just now and damn google shows a bunch of cockroach images that made me press back button immediately and couldn’t read a damn thing.

Im not sure what will happened to my job but given an equal choice i would choose alternatives, job or database.

No not at all im just giving my feedback of why I couldn’t use a great product sadly due to my phobia suffering from its name that many ppl might face the same but don’t bother to give feedbacks.

(PS: Yes if your target customers are Chinese you should avoid using number 4 especially in real estate)

I thought Intel threatened to sue if Windows run x86 apps with Intel emulation on ARM?

I used to hate JavaScript as well, but then when i started developing with React; ES6 had become prevalent and i skipped Redux. ES6 is beautiful!

Even as complex as my application goes ... simple local instance variable as state still works fine most of the time. In fact i find passing in callbacks works fine for most web apps i dare to say unless maybe when you're writing some sort of editors for the browsers.

I come from Object-oriented background therefore i find the Redux-way (functional programming) hideous.

The key here is end up if you project too much into the future then it is premature optimization. I might end up becoming the next Google let's write our back-end in C++.

Redux is another one of those software patterns that most ppl dont need but use anyway.

Yeah, just like the last Dot com bubble when it bursted some traditional companies didn't follow, e.g those components of Berkshire Hathaway.

My guess is AAPL, AMZN, INTC, GOOG, MSFT should all be pretty safe. Can't be said for Snap, FB, NFLX, TSLA, NVDA. I would love to see TSLA succeed though but it has lots of debts.

Current Bitcoin / ICO / cryptocurrencies draw more similarity to 2000 Dot Com Mania than current tech bluechips with solid earnings.

During Standard Oil times there were country-barrier, but nowadays tech monopolies can almost make money tax free from those foreign countries they may not even have an office in.
