This may be the worst take, but is one of my main sources of news. I'll follow a ton of people and businesses/brands in a specific niche or sector and so my following feed will usually have the freshest news when I open it. Search page is pretty good too once it knows your preferences. I do things the old fashioned way; reading with my own eyes and scrolling to find what matters.

(July 2026)"

I just released a project I've been working on for 16 months: LLM Controller CE https://github.com/tensioncore/llm-controller-ce
It's a hardware first AI inferencing platform built with 18 years of hosting infrastructure experience behind it. Always being updated.

Scan for topics that interest me when deciding what to interact with. Topics about engagement are interesting, since there is definitely something very specific about posts that make people want to engage. Could be your username, could be the subject, or maybe it's just random?

It's definitely a chore to keep up. I work a full time job in manufacturing, run my own VPS hosting business from my house and a salon on the side too. Burnout is my middle name, especially in the age of AI where more happens in 1 month than used to happen in a year in the early 2000s. Learning jQuery seemed like a lot to take on back then, now every language and solution has a framework to bolt onto it. I'm only just learning go
