Interesting experiment!
What I missed (as a non-scientist) is a live explanation of what is happening while I'm navigating this virtual world and changing parameters.
This would be a great way to learn!

Hi everyone,
I'm excited to share a tool I’ve been working on for redirect.monster. It's not just another URL redirect checker; it allows you to comprehensively trace the redirection path of any URL.
Key Features:
Detailed Traceability: Follow the complete redirection path, including hostnames and status codes for each redirect.
SSL Insights: Provides information on SSL certificates encountered along the way.
Server and Registrar Data: Access details about the servers and registrars involved in each redirection.
I built this tool to offer more than just redirection tracing by including insights that are useful for developers and SEO experts alike. I’d love for you to try it out and share your thoughts. Your feedback is invaluable and will help enhance this tool further.
Thank you!
Cheers,
Nico

Hi all, over the past weeks I've built Redirect.Monster, a simple tool to set up, manage, and monitor domain redirects.
The idea sparked from a chat with a friend managing IT in a mid-sized company. He needed a solution to manage dozens of redirections across several registrars. I found the topic interesting, so I decided to build it.
After conducting a few researches, I've found that this tool can be useful for several use-cases:
- Rebranding and website migration: requiring a change of hostname from old.domain.com to new.domain.com.
- Post-merger integration and traffic consolidation: when a company acquires another one, it will need to redirect the traffic.
- SEO marketing: managing certain types of redirections to preserve domain reputation.
I also added automatic TLS encryption so that all redirects are HTTPS by default. It is especially useful for non-technical users as certificate management can be annoying.
It is still pretty basic, but it does the job. If you need a domain redirect service, please use it!
I'm also eager to get feedback from the community in order to make it better.
