Programming is all about creation. If i am in project doing mundane things it kills me. LLMs enabled me to explore fascinating new things that would otherwise have spending too much time on setting up, reading tutorials etc etc. That said, i believe that the need for programmers will decrese but will not go away. Managers need people to manage ;-)

I would definetly swap Slack for Discord. In a company i was working for we had discord and it was super fun with all that easy to embed memes. How much we got doen, is another story though

In terms of the view that you should have as an engineer about the product i would say Steve Jobs. As for the view in life i would say Plato, Diogenes of Sinope, Nietzsche
