I have recently started modding my guitars also!

It such a fun activity, especially if you are an engineer+creative type since its involves reading circuit wiring, planning the tones and the sounds that you actually like in the guitar, buying and testing cheap(ish) parts, soldering them and finally playing the guitar with all the mods.

I recently changed the 5 way switch in my Harley Benton Fusion and now the guitar sounds so crisp and bright. All the buzzing and honkyness in the pickups disappeared. The pickups circuit with a 5Eur mod sounds as clear and bright as my EMG retroactives.

Next I want to buy a kit-guitar and learn to stain them for custom finishes. Want to try some of the beautiful bursts that ~10k$ PRS custom shop does.

Do you actually believe that US is not accepting of corruption and is not a weak culture?

For a country that is insanely rich, it’s sad to see poor and middle class being screwed over at every turn of their lives. Pharma , healthcare, crony capitalism, bank crisis , false flag wars … the list goes on.

The reality is that poor countries have to cut corners due to lack of resources and people turn their blind eye because “something is better than nothing”.

I would say that billions of people believe that "might makes right".

Its been seen across the centuries and countries alike. Colonialism, MegaCorps, Hague Invasion Act and countless examples that prove that morals matter very less in the long run.

Maybe you have super positive thinking... But most of people I know don't care enough to stop their life completely for something without an expiry date.

Ofc we stay away from family and are in non risk age.

And your assumption that things will go back to normal is not true. There are many companies, industries and places that will never return back to normal after this pandemic.

Its less about being able to afford and more about people using everything to improve an imaginary success metric in life.

This is a problem with many hobbies in modern times where everything is a competition with others and less about enjoying it.
