That’s ok Dang. I’d rather not post considering the quality of other people’s posts which claim ridiculous statements with no proof which you seem to allow or even outright misinformation. Asking for evidence is deemed site breaking? Ok. I’m not sure I’d want to be part of a community which allows so much misinformation and outright nonsense. This use to be a site where rational thoughts use to exist but doesn’t anymore and this thread and your focus on my comments seems to show otherwise. Feel free to ban me if that’s going to fix this site. I’m sure discourse will normalize and the misinformation will disappear.

If your intelligent in your work, but completely retarded when it comes to society , information gathering and independent thinking rather than regurgiate whatever your oranged tanned cheeto says, then no, your not smart. You just have been able to condition your brain to do something over and over again. Intelligence and smartness isnt about doing one thing well.

Bin laden did achieve what he set out, hurting the US, not just the CIA. You could argue that todays problems actually started with Bush and his cronies cheney et al. And while he poked the monster that killed him too much, America is not what it use to be.
And you, underestimate people that are not of your own.

No he isnt.
Tesla is going to down the shitter and he is trying to fool everyone that it suddenly is now an AI company lol with a disaster rollout for his taxis. Waymo is going to eat them for lunch. Driverless taxis with people overseeing things in the car lol Wow. Such autonomy. He also didnt even create the company. He basically stole it from some other guys who actually founded and built the early stages of tesla.
He doesnt and isnt capable of running SpaceX. Their current CEO and tech lead is the person who runs the business and is actually knowledgable in the space industry and space engineering. Elon? Oh he just is there for the launches.
His neuralink and xAI? lol Ok. Yes Im sure we will see a lot coming out of those businesses with most government and people know shunning his business's and himself. Oh and new version of a nazi LLM. Cant wait to use it. And Twitter. Wow so much great discourse and sensible conversation that it competes with truth social.
Yes, he is doing remarkably well because he has money. Just like Pablo escoabr had money. The leaders of Enron were also doing remarkably well for a while. What about the guy who ran that ponzi scheme? Maddof. Yes he was also doing remarkably well since no one knew the bullshit he was generating. Elon is a fraud like all these other successful people who may have created businesses but hide the bullshit well for now. One day though, it will all come crashing down. Then you and all other sheep will look like greater fools than you do now. You still have time to come to your senses. Just dont be a sheep and glorify any man or exalt him above others. Its quite simple. He is no genius. He is someone who takes advantage and exploit others for his personal gain and is more destructive to society today than he has ever been and people like you are contributing to it so congrats to screwing over other people.

Yeah, doing web searches could be called research but thats not what we are talking bout. Read the parent of the parent. Its about being able to answer questions thats not in its training data. People are talking about LLMs making scientific discoveries that humans haven't. A ridiculous take. Its not possible and with the current state of tech never will be. I know what LLMs are trained on. Thats not the topic of conversation.

ITT: People who think LLMs are AGI and can produce output that the LLM has come up with out of thin air or by doing research. Go speak with someone who is actually an expert in this field how LLMs work and why the training data is so important. Im amazed that people in the CS industry seem to talk like they know everything about a tech after using it but never even writing a line of code for an LLM. Our indsutry is doomed with people like this.

If you have such good intentions, then proudly display who you are and where you are located on your website. Why are you hiding behind a veil of secrecy? Your social links on the website go no where. Speaks volumes about the 'legit' use cases you are targeting.

Hopefully one day you get impacted by similar tech and your business fails. What goes around, come around and Im sure it will come around to you too. Since you dont have any details on your website about who you are or where you are located (which says a lot about the type of company and people you are) I look forward to the day your servers and data are leaked to something like Distributed Denial of Secrets (love what happened to TMSignal today)

I want an internet where sixteen browser engines are competing against each other, not two, or three and that lives up to the claims that they set out and use as marketing. So please stop shitting on people who raise legitimate concerns and when maintainers suppress or ignore information about these concerns raised.
You dont know how many PRs Ive submitted to open source projects. So maybe dont make shitty claims yourself. I think holding people accountable for the statements they make is pretty much whats happening here. Yet people like yourself think its ok that companies or products say one thing but then do another.

My main concern is the lack of interest in the security problems being raised and the constant attempt at silencing of people raising issues or silence itself. Not just this bug but other links were provided on and the developers deliberate attempt at ignoring or or shutting down discussion. This isnt just about one bug. Dont be so naive. The developer is selling a product on a given feature, privacy and they neither care about it or have the ability to implement privacy properly.
What about the people who believe them that the browser is private when its not? What if genuinely someone relied on its privacy for their important work but in reality its not? This isnt about the developer. Its bigger than that and your ignorance on this is kind of part of the problem.

If your main primary marketing line is privacy focused and you ignore multiple issues raised and avoid any and all discussions about the privacy you promise then I think its valid to be concerned.
Your premise that people should be able to market their project with promises and not live up to them, especially privacy in this day and age, is the real cancer. And people like yourself pushing the acceptance of this behaviour is cancer too.

I think it’s important to raise issues with project maintainers directly before publicizing issues and that’s been the case here however the devs are not really responding appropriately or showing a massive lack of incompetence.
For those not aware, Zen browser markets itself as privacy conscious browser however a serious backdoor has been found and multiple topics regarding its lack of privacy has been practically ignored.
It think it’s important to raise awareness of this as the browser is gaining popularity and it’s clear the devs lack the experience to secure the browser.
Edit
