One thing we've done at our company is limit the interviews to a max of 3 times. 1. Initial (phone or in-person). 2. In-person longer interview with some "can you solve problems" questions 3. Final interview to make sure of culture fit

Anything that exceeds 4 interviews is unnecessary. I am unconvinced that it is beneficial to anyone.

These are good insights for small-SaaS. I especially like not using intrusive analytics - they are simply unnecessary and unhelpful. With a small SaaS business you will hear from your users, a they will tell you their pain points. Tracking them and trying to model out of a web of interactions what you should do is missing the forest for the trees.

Boycotting large American corps is the right thing to do here. I would say though, support your local businesses as much as possible, and while that likely will buoy some seedy someone down the supply chain... well as they say, there's no ethical consumption under capitalism. Just do as much as you can to help the right people.
