>> or the amount because of which it ends.
a buck to print 15 pages a month on the customer's printer is a sweet deal for HP. It's pure profit and likely adds up. 6 months from now they'll bump it to $1.29 and some executive will get a multi-million dollar bonus.

Amazon has shown us there are lots of attractive jurisdictions ready to shower companies with tax incentives to relocate; SF feels like a city that's enjoyed the benefits of many factors not directly of their making and they could be in for a strict reckoning.
I fear I will jinx my 20-yr-old hp 1200 laser jet that's on maybe it's 4(?) toner and hooked up to our home network via a parallel port to usb adapter. It's yellower than an 8-bit computer but still prints great and fast. One of my best tech purchases ever; I'm glad I resisted the lure of color inkjet and spent 3x much for a b&w laser.

I think part of it may be that, if he's the (good kind of) hustler his friends state he is, he probably did a million things over that decade period which is really hard to translate into a narrative acceptable for an article like this. I'm in no way equating our situations other than I have ~10 year "consulting" period on my resume that includes probably 20-30 contracts, projects, a few jobs, etc. and it's really hard to break it down into a simple timeline to answer "what did you do from ...". That's my take.

This happens all the time in real sports. If you get caught cheating you often forfeit your legacy because everything you've done professionally is suspect, especially if you show a longer-running history of cheating or are caught multiple times.
I'm not sure how you can differentiate the punative nature of banning someone from all future tries because they had cheated indeterminately in the past, but not invalidating all their historical record outside of individiaul cases...

If YC is still getting post-program funding at comparable levels as the in-person batches then I'd guess it is worth it; is this the case?

GrubHub is taking over the relationship between the customer and the restaurant without either of those parties being aware of it. This is clearly a deceptive practice, and now GrubHub influences the customer's perception of the restaurant. Examples of conclusion(cause):
* That place is expensive (GrubHub sets the price which can be higher than the restaurant)
* That place screwed up my order (GrubHub's game of telephone made an error)
* That place is so slow (The now multi-step transaction slowed down the process)
>> They're saying you'll get food from restaurant X.
They're actually failing to say this, so the reasonable interpretation is "We ARE restaurant X" which is the fraudulent representation at the heart of the case here.

How long till these food "delivery" services just capture all the addressable market masquerading as a bunch of uninformed, non-participating restaurants and make the food they deliver? Why are they leaving all this extra margin on the table?
