Kinda.

I use VPN most of the time. My work requires it, and I like Mozilla VPN for personal privacy. (Note: it has ad blocking DNS built in which is nice!)

I occasionally get blocked by websites or services, especially streaming apps, if I'm on VPN. I suspect they're just looking out for Amazon/Microsoft/etc IP address blocks. It's very annoying

That's like me pressing the 'coffee' button on my coffee maker, and it gives me an audio definition and history because I didn't give it the context that I wanted a drink.

People expect certain conventions with well established products. It's not a skill issue when a product is broken.

Good question. I wonder about the validity of these surveys.

In my experience, having lived in Japan for a bit, I would estimate the opposition rate to be much, much higher.

I didn't see any negativity in the post you replied to.

I think the point being made is that Jev is great but it has no competitive moat, and open source versions will very soon catch up if their secret sauce is just synthetic data.

(Whether or not that is true, I don't know.)

Same here. Owned every initial iPhone but went to Pixel a little while back and it's a much better experience.

With that said, something Apple does very well is the ecosystem integration between devices across form factors. I miss that, but not enough to switch my phone back.

It's always been a joke that stock prediction is a rite of passage for software engineers introduced to ML training. I see the same is true for commodity LLMs.
