There's a John Oliver episode about the chocolate industry, you can check it out on YouTube.
Of course there's no logo saying the chocolate is made with child slavery, I hope you didn't mean to be snarky here.
There are initiatives to try to alleviate the problem, the only example I have in mind right now is Tony's Chocolonely (which explains the problem and their solution on their website) but I'm sure others could come up with other initiatives.
The trends from top companies of chocolate is that they try to do as little as possible to alleviate the problem of child slavery in chocolate production.

There is good content that is being produced in Quebec, you just have to look out for it and not expect Hollywood quality production. Xavier Dolan, Denis Villeneuve and Jean-Marc Vallée (rip), Monia Chokri and more, all started their career in Quebec thanks to legislation around creating French content.
The "90% bad TV" also happens everywhere, especially in the US. The number of CSI spinoffs must be really high.
One of the dangers from YouTube/streaming platforms in regard to French Canadian content is that the economics is just not the same. For example, Linus Tech Tips have a global reach since it's English content. M. Net (now defunct tech show in Quebec) or something similar would not even be closed to compete monetarily.

Actors are much more than just talents, by which I mean being able to carry emotions, being charismatic and delivering lines in the way a director wants it.
There is an undeniable human aspect to it that AI won't ever be able to replace. Sure, it'll probably be an important part of the industry, but saying all future media is going to be 24/7 AI generated content like that Seinfeld twitch stream is a pretty bleak view of the future.
We watch movies because we try to connect with people and share our feelings with humans. I can't relate to an AI.

I don't get these kind of comment. What are you trying to say? That the reason this person see this content is their fault? They secretly want to see these type of videos?
There are a lot of articles and videos showing that sometimes watching just one video will suggest a ton of videos related to it, no matter if you are not interested. Machine learning and deep learning is not perfect, and sometimes the goal of the companies is not clear and may not align with your goals.
Sure, your experience will vary on Reddit, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok based on the people you follow, that's the goal of hyper-personalized feed. But you still get a trend, a social effect of the network.
For example, on Youtube, you need "clickbait" thumbnails. So even Tom Scott, who 's content is educative and entertaining, needs to follow the "trend" of Youtube to get views.
But I see these comments every time someone is blaming the weird content they are seeing on their feed: "Oh me I only see nice stuff, stop watching weird stuff". I think we can have a deeper conversation than that.
