I do not get slop vibes from this project at all. Everything looks intentional. There are no bizarre UI elements that were hallucinated into existence. It looks like everything you see was intended to be there.

The website doesn't give the impression of slop either.

This appears to be the "taste" we all have been saying humans are needed for.

I was able to boot the 1.44MB floppy image on my PS/2, but the mouse doesn't work.

DJGPP was a revelation. Suddenly I had real build tools, for free, and I was linking to Glide libraries and thinking I was going to be the next John Carmack.

We never attempted to solve the issue of distorted price signals that occur when customers aren't the ones paying for something. We're still charging $600 for a bag of saline.

Another way of looking at is that some people are concerned about what happens to limited "free" healthcare resources when you simultaneously oppose any controls on immigration.

Democracy is the biggest obstacle to universal healthcare in the US.

A lot of people do not want it, and you've thus far failed to make them want it.

Friction is the problem with something like this. If my kid grabs my phone, or uses the LG TV Youtube App, or the Apple TV app, or the PlayStation 5, can all of those default to KidScreen?

If it can't solve all those, there's absolutely no utility for me. If I were willing to become the kind of authoritarian taskmaster that tightly controls which devices my kids use to watch something at all times, I would already not need KidScreen.

Maybe the "beautiful, elegant" math is really just accidentally that way, just the tiny cross section our dumb human brains can understand. The vast majority of it could be inscrutable, ugly, chaotic and seemingly meaningless.
