what a beautifully-written lambda. i'm not finished reading source but i can't think of a reason i wouldn't prefer to use nyxt over every other browser when i'm in x11.

I really thought Firefox did all of this already too. I have no justification for not having truly checked. Hopefully other browsers from Safari will not be far behind.

I hope that there might be a way to safely auto-sync my Firefox profile, bookmarks and history especially, to Safari iff it's really the more secure of the available browsers for iOS.

As a hacker doing mostly odd jobs and remote volunteer work for not-for-profits, I'm often consumed by the idea of whether I'll be able to "put my name on the day" when the head hits the pillow.

I have had a regular 0900-1700 job before, and it was nice to have the external validation thing to fall back on, the time-card that proves you showed up at least, or the mere fact that you're holding the job etc.

This is a great piece of advice. One source of metrics I found helpful to abandon is educational mobile apps / web programs etc that involve any sort of gamification. For example, I wasn't enjoying learning Japanese during the times I was redoing a lesson I didn't need to redo simply in order to make the education app make a fanfare sound and tell me that I had achieved my "daily x out of x points" ... I think measuring in time spent and effort exerted is a lot healthier, even if its complete inability to be quantified can be extremely frustrating!

from my experience, most words in esperanto should have the emphasis on the second-to-final syllable. this is a good guideline!

mi esTAS STUdando ... sounds weird. mi EStas stuDANdo ... sounds right.

this works almost everywhere because of esperanto's constructed nature and following uniformity.

i move my not-to-be-indexed stuff around a lot: renaming, archiving, etc. & i've a bit of shell scripting and a commonlisp program that automatically add things to robots.txt so that barely any of the things listed won't 404, and the ones that won't are protected via htaccess.

not sure why i did this aside from that it was fun!

we do know, as far as proving a negative goes anyhow; i’m a sdf member & volunteer ... the voidnull page has never been put away for too long & if anyone was able to deobfuscate the user’s identity beyond the website page proper it would be a whole exciting todo for our community.

if it becomes 2023, and if by then nobody’s doxed voidnull i think a special edition “everyone wins especially voidnull sdf forever” mug &or hoodie would be in order!
