This is happening all over the country. This is the Disney World playbook; people in these towns should understand what their land is worth to companies like Meta et al, and make a decision after having all the facts laid out for them in public.

Can we not just point LLMs at OpenAPI documents and achieve the same result? All of the example functions in the article look like very very basic REST endpoints.

Do they think that NYC can force Uber and Lyft (and others) to hire all of these people and pay a certain amount? Why wouldn’t these companies scale back their NYC operations in other ways in response to this?
