Check the podcast “Fall of Civilizations”, this is very true. This advanced civilization is actually dying.

Yes and no.
Although I’m a proponent of the “put the pain where it belongs” way of doing things, sometimes a more nuanced way of doing things is needed. This usually involves more communication instead of less.
You can always give them feedback that (may) make them reconsider their approach of just stating things and not asking questions.
Small effort for you, but you might change someone’s way of asking things, both for the good of you and them.
If that doesn’t work, you can always go back to ignoring.

Really interesting, thanks for letting us know. There hasn't been a lot of new about this (not that I've been looking that long), is there a place to follow up on these developments, a roadmap of sorts?
Edit: Misread, thought this was about the "normal" Proxmox web UI. Any plans to make that Rust based?

I'm aware of most of the problems with the behaviour of Linus in the past, but reading over this post on the mailing list actually comes over pretty civilized. No name calling, no big drama (compared to the past), just giving some clear boundaries to someone who is not doing things like they should be done.
As someone said here, it comes of a bit infantile to expect special treatment for your project, IMO.

Maybe you know already, but you can use an IRC relay to act as pseudo client, connect to that and then read back on messages. You’ll have to find a place to host it though.
For example, “The Lounge”.
Edit: typo

I used this as a solution for remote workers in my company. Set up rdp on Windows with 24-bit color and select "LAN" connectivity improves sluggishnes.
It takes a bit of tinkering to get the xRDP config working well, but when it works, it's really smooth.
I used X over RDP. Make sure no users are locally logged in before logging in via RDP.
