We should really up the game and completely ban all AI generated images depicting people, because we have no good way of knowing whether an image is AI generated or real, and images depicting people have terrible consequences in society when weaponized.

That is called a "DI Container", and usually manages the objects and order of instantiation etc.

Dependency injection simply means to take objects as parameters, and not instantiate them themselves (which causes "Inversion of Control" also commonly mentioned when talking about DI). DI Containers just makes the managing of objects easier.

Avoiding it like a plague seems excessive, did you have a bad experience with them?

I'm talking about a "skills" section where you simply list the technologies you have experience with, presumably tailored a bit for the role you are applying for. Like this:

Skills: - Java - AWS - Kafka - RabbitMQ - Docker ...

Do recruiters care at all about such a list?

If I'd be recruiting, I'd be only interested in what specific achievements the candidate has, regardless of what programming language or cloud provider they have used. But I've noticed that this list seems to be quite common, so I'm now questioning myself.

Would be great to hear what people who are actively recruiting think. Do I need this on my CV?

The tool looks neat, and normally I'd be interested to check out the code and learn something new by discussing it with the author, but I can't think of any technical questions that would be interesting to hear your opinion on, since you didn't code it. You even mention you don't know Swift at all.

But I'm sure you had fun creating it, so nice job. I'm just screaming at clouds.

I'm pretty sure many doctors see themselves as being a doctor by identity, not just a person who works as a doctor.

If there is prestige in the profession, it seems to often become an identity.

You dont expose error details to the user for security reasons, even though it does indeed make the user experience worse.
