You’re calculating a random number every time the loop runs. If you want an average of 50 you should call random outside the loop and save the value to be compared each time.

Big LLMs can run on consumer hardware. It would likely take up less space and weight than getting a person to Mars so it could run locally. Or just eat the 10-40 minute round trip delay.

1. Get domain and set up webflow site. Throw in a random template and give access to sales team to add whatever content they want.
2. Spend remaining 3 hours, 45 minutes rehearsing speech about how great it was to work with the sales team and how much you guys can achieve when you put your heads together.
3. Get promoted.
4. Next time a request comes in tell the new guy to throw together a site in 3-4 hours. Don’t worry about the results, they’ll learn.
5. Spend newly free time internally/externally blogging and being a ‘thought leader’
6. Get promoted.
7. Leverage new title to job hop to another company as an ML Engineer so I can learn what ML actually is.

This feels unfair to say.
People with moral values don’t and shouldn’t avoid this kind of work to make sure that they care about accuracy, edge cases, that they continuously refine how they define utility and try to view it from a place of empathy.
Doctors and first responders make these calls often when they perform mass casualty triage, or when to declare someone’s death to enable collection of life saving organs.

Normally I’m all for rapid validation of ideas, but this is one of the areas in which I think it is not a great idea.
Just because you are validating an idea does not absolve you from being properly licensed to provide mental healthcare. Be aware you are likely putting the therapist’s license in jeopardy, and as you are offering healthcare services you are likely still required to be HIPAA compliant. There are also possibly even further data protections you are expected to comply with given the likelihood you will have information on mental health, substance abuse and sexual history.

An insane number of engineers fake it til they make it. They do a 3 hour online class, boom, they’re an ML/DL/AI engineer. They fork AI related repositories so they seem to have street cred for it.
What everyone knows in the industry but doesn’t say out loud is that companies hire engineers who are interested in a technology and can be trained for it and engineers want to find roles in which they can train for new skills they don’t have yet.
