The way math is typically taught at the lowest levels actively hurts mathematical ability. Just taking them out of those classes will help them.

Composition of mathematical notation is always terrible. Where do I write the -1 on the square root to indicate that I would like the preimage? Even worse, Where do I write this on a trig function?

No, it was not a good game, and it was not particularly well received. The nigh universal hatred for the game was not because the marketers did a bad job. It was because it was a bad game that they lied about being a good game. It was a case of fraud, and it was more or less repeated in exactly the same way with Sim City 2013.

It's worth noting that these two games bookend the career of John Riccitiello as the CEO of EA, and basically ever since then he has been the CEO at Unity.

As soon at the becomes prevalent, people are going to start fucking with it. For instance, I'm personally going to bring a big piece of posterboard with a car printed on it, and hold it out in intersections that I'm about to cross on foot.

The problem with plastic recycling is not that it doesn't work. It doesn't, of course, but that's not the problem with it.

The problem with plastic is that it leaks into the environment. The only problem with a landfill solution for plastic is that not all of the plastic makes it into the landfill.

Textbooks have separate publications called errata, usually findable on the author's website, or your favorite search engine. You should basically never open up a textbook that you are independently studying from without also opening the errata.

Man, why do you guys get paid so much? Contracts need semantic correctness, ie the verification of the logical consequences of natural language. This is an AGI determining problem. At the point this exists, humans are basically obsolete as workers, and you don't have to worry about your law firm keeping up anymore.
