This is very interesting. I purchased what is claimed to be a 400 year old German / Bavarian culture and it's one of the most prolific I've ever had. I really enjoy the heartiness and it's ability to live in the fridge for a few weeks when I'm not using it (yes I know, bad parenting). I'd be really curious to see how it would compare. Very cool read, thanks a ton.
