Given that they’re underwater for approval rating on immigration it seems both you and they have misread the room. Most people’s objections have to do with immigrants who are violent criminals that are going around neighborhoods hunting for cats and dogs to eat. This is what their campaign was highlighting as a problem. They have not been cracking down specifically on those immigrants. For this, they have no mandate.

Maybe others see it differently than I do, but the actual spending isn't so much the issue. It's the fact that these people with so much money exist at all. That much money translates to a tremendous amount of power which allows them to bend the law to their will.

802.11ax introduced some changes that have real world effects: subcarrier spacing was decreased by a factor of 4. Symbol length was increased by the same factor, but that means receiver sensitivity requirements are looser for the same data rate. So, for the same signal strength you can get a higher data rate. I’ve personally seen this effect on my own phones and laptops: I get consistently higher throughput on ax networks than I do on ac.

It seems pretty obvious that GP wasn’t saying $10/hr to mean literally $10/hr, but were exaggerating to imply that people were getting chump change for this work. $30/hr is still chump change and not enough to buy oneself any reasonable quality of life for the majority of the population.
