<p>TLDR an IDE is a large program, buy ram.<p>This fellow isnt switching IDEs, just going to a tiny editor instead. I use JB daily and I despise their quality but they do get things right eventually (eg wayland). Ignore AI and remote development, use wayvnc. Open symlinked projects in a single window. Connect agents via IDE Index MCP (not the official one). Use a sidecar editor for magical autocomplete / niche LSP extensions (mirroring the IDEs config). You cant replace an IDE with an editor…</p>

<p>Thats the host, but the guess is missing, as stated in the issue last year "I guess we could add sockets to wasip2". To be honest, even BigGo failed me on websocket conns on both wasmtime and wazero (connects and gets into an inf loop on reply). WebWorkers and GOOS=js work like a charm tho on BigGo in FF/chrome.</p>
