Sure and we as developers can vibe code other systems / ways to ensure we get paid for keeping AI relevant.

sure but it would be nice if AI paid it's fair share in many different ways for humans keeping it relevant. Open AI wants to provide all Americans stock options, which is one way but the more the merrier.

or use Cloudflare's "Pay Per Use," tech so real humans and or more so AI sucking up your content for free is forced to pay you something to gain access.

Tech WAS such a great career now it's total crap! The hey day of tech jobs when you received tons of prospective jobs offers via Linkedin feels like that's drying up (tho it could be my age which is not listed anywhere on Linkedin). From 2012 up until Spring 2025 each month I'd receive 3 to 6 recruiters offering a new UX Research, Design and or Front End Development job. Not anymore and now these jobs you are now competing with 100s to 1000s for just one job and if you are lucky enough to get an interview you have to go through 5 to 12 interviews LOL. Im laughing even more as i vibe code a project in which my previous personal projects i hired some help like a back-end developer or two. Nope I can do it all myself and save money like so many businesses are and will continue to.
Overall I can't imagine the killing all this head count cause blossomed too much and now AI definitely reducing head count futher is a good thing for an economy. An economy where these jobs let you buy nice single family homes in nice areas.
For me I havent left the job market but it's a huge joke now for techies and soon will be for a lot workers who use a computer to complete their work tasks. AI agents will be reducing all white collar jobs where only a few will be needed vs. 10 or 20 were needed before.

So this is my iCloud on the web for AI agents to pay me for access to my content (Cloudflare allows the bots in upon paying) :-)
Cloudflare offers this now (their Pay to Crawl service) but its not geared towards every human getting paid for their content. As of today Facebook and other social media platforms profit from our content....not us!

Totally agree with Tidal (music SPAM needs to go away) and this coming from a huge lover of AI music. So much so, I only listen to my own AI music now and I'm not the only one per this Verge article https://www.theverge.com/ai-artificial-intelligence/937059/n...
As a lifelong songwriter, using AI to produce my own melodies and lyrics lets me listen to the diary of my own life, which allows me to reminsce and realize my songs are the best songs ever for JUST me :). I dont subject others to them ... much.

Went to a new dentist recently and his staff took x-rays of my teeth. I was then waiting for him to come speak with me about what the x-rays show him yet i just took a pic and uploaded it to Gemini. 9 months back my previous dentist said i should have a filling or potentially a crown was needed. I told Gemini this and that ive only about 3 fleeting pain issues in that area. With the x-ray and that info Gemini told me the exact same thing the dentist later came in and told me. If pain comes back and for long periods of time then there's an issue as the x-rays look fine.
Overall i see a great opportunity for x-ray techs (radiographers even when Jensen from NVidia says the first field he recommends not getting into - Radiology which is the step above) to open their own businesses for people who want to use AI for self care and help. Have one doctor or dentist on staff to use as needed.

sure im sharing a somewhat unique/new idea so its going to be mocked. Yet AI paying us for our content to keep it relevant after it kills so many jobs is something Open AI and ANthropic are pushing via free stock options to all Americans.
Yet what about all other humans where's is their system and will those stock options provide enough pay to keep this economic system we have going? If not then my concept of using AI against itself so all humans get their fair share for feeding AI content could be an option.
Either way AI needs to pay us it's fair share as without humanity past content it wouldnt exist and without it's future content it's irrelevant.

I wish we could unplug AI especially when you watch videos of tech folks saying it could destroy us. Umm well then.
Yet i guess it's here to stay and AI needs us, our human content to stay relevant and thrive. Personally, I think it should pay all of us (set up some system or systems) for every piece of content we create daily & choose to publish. THat way we all thrive for keeping it relevant and it thrives alongside us. Wrote about one idea / a system that would get us paid for the daily content we produce via living each day https://ryanspahn.substack.com/p/ai-to-pay-for-all-americans...
But, again I'd be happy if all of society and cultures unplugged it!
