I think this needs a before and after example

Normally people have feelings about things before they are able to put them into words, I would imagine if you were asked a question like "what city would you most like to visit" then unless you've already thought about it a lot, then you would have to do substantial non-verbal thinking before you can come up with an answer, and once you have the answer you may respond "my favorite city is X" and you decided what X would be before you started the sentence.

Also, it sounds like the kind of thing that sells. Any company with a customer support chat is a potential user of this model, any large company may be interested in getting a mistral installed set-up for handling without needing to send client info over the web. Installing those kinds of local systems seems to be what butters Mistral's bread at the moment.

It would, leading to more resources going towards producing those goods. A UBI is price signal indicating the needs no/low income people matter.
Maybe it would be too politically unpopular, lead to too much spending on vices, or some other issue, but inflation shouldn't be a concern unless those particular goods are of a fixed quantity over the long term.

Depending on the nature of the study, there's lots of scientific disciplines where it's trivial to get populations in the millions. I got to see a fresh new student's poster where they had a p-value in the range of 10^-146 because every cell in their experiment was counted as it's own sample.

The difficulty comes when you don't know to google, or to ask the LLM because you don't realise that a particular challenge requires addressing. I can build a completely functional webapp that has absolutely no security, and there may be no clear "I should google how to do this" point that would steer me towards tools that would save me from this mistake.
