libghostty provides terminal emulation, without any UI. An application embedding it will need to provide the UI.

libvte provides terminal emulation complete with a gtk UI.

In terms of terminal emulation, libghostty implements several protocols that libvte does not. For example kitty keyboard, kitty graphics, and desktop notification.

RevK's recent stratum 1 server hardware [0] is worth a look. As are the notes [1] that someone wrote up after using it in the UK NTP pool for a couple of weeks.

The torus.c file start with this include directive.

  #include <_time.h>

I'm not sure what that header file is, but commenting it out allowed for a clean compile for me

I noticed that Bubble Tea v2 [0] has been released. It looks like a great improvement all round over 1.x. The companion libraries lipgloss[1] and bubbles[2] have also had v2 releases.

As soon as I saw the scrolling "made by henry (from online)." at the bottom I thought "marquee" tag. Sure enough when I inspected the DOM it does use one.

Just the lines from the files are wanted, not the files names. It took me a little while to cotton on to that.

Semi-spoiler follows.

So you need to use the appropriate flag with grep to suppress the file names.
