It is considered personal data by the likes of the EU, the issue however a pesky little thing called the Swedish Constitution, specifically chapter 2 of the "Freedom of the Press Act" which basically states, in very simple terms:

1. Everyone(1) shall be entitled to have free access to official documents.

2. Official documents are all(2) documents held and produced by the authorities.

(1)=Everyone includes everyone in the world, you do not have to live in Sweden or be a citizen and you do not have to identify yourself.

(2)=Some restrictions apply (natsec, medical, etc).

In short, most government databases are databases of "official documents", including the citizenship registry maintained by the tax authorities.

Downside: All the mundane information about you is public property; address, birthdate, tax records, school grades, drivers license, passport photograph, martial status, court cases and pretty much everything else you can't think of.

Upside: Applies to all politicians as well.

That's because it's borderline impossible to produce SOTA chips in Europe (due to costs), and all non-SOTA fabs here already have what they need, and are reluctant to invest more (also due to costs).

They have all the logs, URLs accessed and inter-agent communication. What they are saying is that no agents accessed their work during the effort, but that they have no idea if any of their chats have somehow made it into the training data the model was produced with.

It's entirely possible OIA scrapers have picked up their work somehow, and then it was anonymized using some outsourcing effort.

Well, no one arrived in this direction, because no one was sitting and prompting a model. It was 10000 agents working 24/7 for several days, trying millions of different directions.

Github pricing is aimed at US companies. Small EU companies that can only afford to pay their 5-6 developers 60K euro per year rather selfhost than pay GitHub.

I've only found B2B oriented companies in the EU.

LibrePCB from Aisler seems to be most like jlcpcb.

You do pay a lot more though due to industrial regulations. Only lead free solder is allowed in the EU, and chemical regulations and waste disposal laws will drive up the price a lot compared to similar services in China and the USA.

I can answer that. A higher regulatory overhead that means less money for R&D and decreased profit margins for companies here in the EU. That's what's going to happen.

Yes of course, but you need to do it via the package manager. You can't "sudo make install". If you build your own software and want to install it system wide, you need to flatpack/brew it or run it in a docker container.

(obviously you can modify the filesystem if you really really really want to).

Bazzite is gaming oriented version of Fedora CoreOs. There are many different versions. I am running bluefin.

I've tried a lot of desktop linux distros, and to be honest, immutable linux feels like the future. Anything you do can simply be rolled back. Break something? Just roll it back.

And if you run something like Bazzite, but want to try out Bluefin-Dx which is developer oriented, then you can rebase your existing installation. If you don't like it, just revert back to Bazzite with a single command.

However, it's desktop oriented. Don't run CoreOs on a server.

Personally? Yes (and I hate it).

Autocomplete of entire functions and methods. Nice, but also really boring. Takes the fun out it. It's all about fixing sup-par code now, a line here or there.

It's just boring. I tried writing some code by hand today after a few months hardly thinking about things and it was really hard to do even the simplest stuff.

The fighter jet program was a jobs program, not dissimilar to how many US government programs are jobs programs by having different parts of it made in different states for no goo reason. Add in some nationalism and it was inevitable it would not work out.

Sure, in Europe we don't because we already have databases of all citizens, also recording attributes like race, skin color, religious affiliation or political leaning in a database is highly illegal, both for the government and for private use.
