Let’s be real for a moment; why didn’t YouTube do the same for the russian collusion charade? How about the many video clips used out of context to manipulate the public? YouTube, google, facistbook etc are all surrogates for the DNC.

the idea of a safe harbor date is also one which we will see shorty, has little relevance.

I find hn filled with comments like this which are apologetic in tone and completely dismiss the essence of the OP. Rather than just state “The open web can survive” please explain WHY you have that opinion. That would make for more constructive discourse.

Is there a summary of functionality for pinephone?

I’m not clear if for example the degraded mms support is an issue in all variants of mobile gnu Linux distros or oif only some suffer.

Thank god I switched back to windows early this year. I absolutely love it and I do not foresee me returning to Apple for a considerable amount of time.

- how does this product help users get past ATS? I wasn't clear what this product does besides helping with some generic design.

- "experts" in the business of resume writing and folks who claim to review many resumes on a regular basis often recommend either a simple, no-frills resume, optimized for each job applied to or a "pretty" resume (images, color, exotic fonts, multiple columns), similar to the examples on your page. Can you share why you believe your design should be used over a simple, primarily text resume?

I’ve used various yubikeys in personal environments over the past 7 years and found them to be a gimmick rather than a useful tool.

They are quite versatile and can be used for many different use cases which is part of the problem in my opinion. While not a total dummy, I found yubikey software and documentation to be difficult to use and configure and a pain to find how to setup the key for common scenarios. This brings me back to ideal users, probably corporate use where a dedicated team can support users for the specific use cases.

I tried the new layout when offered as a beta feature and very quickly realized it was a regression in terms of ease of access to the information I want when I navigate to a repo page. I’ve submitted multiple feedback messages and was shocked when this was pushed through. Natfriedman, please consider these points.

Not sure what you are trying to say, windows like macOS is not perfect but with patience I was able to replicate my existing development workflows and improve some.

I’ve been unhappy with macOS and Apple for the past few years and in January switched back to developing on a windows PC. I could not be happier with that decision and with the “roadmap” Apple provided yesterday, I expect it will be a long time before I go back to macOS, if ever.

very unfortunate news given that I have zero trust in zoom. To be honest, i've never found a unique use for keybase in the past years that my account was active and was always disappointed with the quality of their desktop and iphone applications.

later today or tomorrow when I have free time, I will be deleting my keybase account.

Nice site. A suggestion: cleanup the duplicate languages. I saw there were two “TypeScript” options which were different only due to variation of capital letters.
