The instant on thing actually bothered me enough to make switch from windows back to Mac( by proxy the idle battery drain on windows was also pretty terrible)

Depends on your definition of "instant".

What we really mean is before you complete the action of fully opening the hinge to 120deg which is something like 1.5-2seconds?

AFAIK pre M1 days it would be still a few seconds after fully opening and now it's more like < 1sec.

If you purely value scientists with some sort of Value Over RePlacement metric on their scientific contribution alone, I would like to think Einstein is tier 1 along side another 20-50 people.

It seems like in this particular situation if you had a mainland chinese friend, he would have been able to source a replacement tablet panel for the cheap on 1688.com for ~50 USD.

I've only play with TLA+ for a small amount of time but absolutely agree with the maths statement being way off the mark.

Building out any real maths with logic operators yourself is just not feasible in a meaningful timescale.

Yes at the extremes where you have sufficient leverage the hours are irrelevant, but for any pre-IPO stage CEO my statement is clearly not a misconception.
