If you truly have an artificial superhuman mind, you don't need to rent it out to profit from it. You can skip to the chase and just have it run businesses itself, instead of renting it to human entrepreneur middlemen.

DisplayPort over DP Alt Mode != DisplayLink. DisplayLink is a way to send compressed video streams over a normal USB connection.

That makes a lot more sense than banning them outright - this way, customers have one place to manage their Claude credits instead of having inexplicably separate API and Claude.ai billing. Now I hope they put together an official way to access Claude.ai via OAuth or the like, so third-party software has a easy way to integrate with this extra usage system w/o reverse engineering.

Mozilla only makes the integration between the browser and the VPN, not the VPN network itself - Mozilla VPN is white label Mullvad.

Indeed streaming killed the loudness war - all major streaming apps either require masters to meet a specific loudness target or perform normalization on their end to move their encodes to their loudness target.

The patent application hasn't been published yet so I can't link it, but it's the integration of a bot management system with a queuing system (think, preventing bots from taking space in the line waiting to buy tickets from Ticketmaster when everyone's in the waiting room)

Those clauses exclude those licenses from some very important definitions of free/open-source software. For example they would fail the Desert Island Test for the Debian Free Software Guidelines.

I developed Node.js applications 10 years ago on a 2009 MacBook Pro with 5GB of RAM, and it was only a little tight on memory. 8GB _should_ be enough for moderate complexity development, but everything has become more and more memory-hungry with time.
