Looks like the OAI divergence is finally taking place. Seems like the comparisons are mainly with Opus 4.6 and GPT 5.4 though. Still, exciting to see a new frontier player.

Did HP acquire Humane just to put in GPT-OSS into HP laptops? What a waste of an acquisition.
"Uses your microphone, to detect whether users are in the same room as a Poly conferencing device." - This is outright a privacy nightmare btw

Unfortunately, there's a reason people prefer paid office software over Apple's free suite. Apps like Numbers are chaotic in the face of Excel.

Highly doubt it's good for the mass consumers and non-power users in the long term. Most consumers would prefer household OS name like Windows or MacOS over Linux as a pre-installed OS.
OEMs will always prefer Windows because of the profits they make whenever there's a Windows Refresh, no matter how bad the version is.

You'd be surprised to know that though this might be a possibility, MS Office Suite or whatever it's called now will still be some of the top installed/grossing apps on the App store. Windows is just one of Microsoft's gateways to get you on the office suite.

Another HP bloatware, great. Seems positioned for enterprise, but I hope it's easy to uninstall.
