But isn’t that also because of not investing in the grid more than a production problem? Not cheap to upgrade the grid of course but having good transmission capacity makes a more stable and efficient energy system.

Not saying we shouldn’t produce more electricity. But from what I have understood it’s mainly about other factors than production.

Just for clarification. The default mode network is what activates when we are at rest or ”not focused on the outside world”. Ie daydreaming and mind wandering, even if it also can be active during detailed thinking.

It has also been shown to have negative correlation to networks in the brain associated with attention.

Im not 100% following. ADHD-type adjustments of information is usually the type of changes that make information more accessible for everyone. There are studies on how classes thst where adjusted because one student have adhd have improved all students performance. So it seems quite different from incorrect medication? Or am i misunderstanding you?

Red herring how exactly? The conversation is literally:

Edit: to expand on what I mean. I read so much negativity and hyperboles here on the EU. It is full of problems absolutely but ”With a dictator you have full responsibility concentrated in a single person” is simply not true. Dictorships are master minds of shifting blame. EU has problems but what large organization works better? US? India? China? Brazil? I’m obviously biased as a European but I’d pick the eu any day.

Are you saying that historically very bureaucratic countries have been worse to live in than dictatorships? Not sure I follow actually. It sounds very strange to me. Isn’t also the first move of all dictators to take over all institutions with their own people?

I guess it has a little to do with your goals. Optimal trade economically or avoiding giving something that looks like a win to this type of politicians with the goal of avoiding re-electing trump. I don’t know what science say here.

Yeah, it does feel a bit silly with my encrypted disks, encrypted backups, unique passwords, advanced router, etc, while I send everything I do in plain text to anthropic.

Im sure you are right, but I’m not sure what you mean. I can search for an address fine in search and I get an embedded map that I can click to open Google Maps. How does it work in the US?

Im guessing parent meant more open in this particular case, i.e open weight models vs closed cloud hosted. Obviously china is not an open country.
