The morphic resonance guys claim this is proof. And I for one do find it a little unbelievable that these seeds are travelling the world, such that for any cubic foot of air you find a seed. Show me the math on that.

GPT4 just wrote a python script for me that downloaded a star catalogue, created a fish eye camera model, and then calculated the position of the camera relative to the stars by back propagating the camera position and camera parameters to match the star positions.
All I did was hold it's hand, it wrote every line of code.
You are living in fantasy land if you think we will be writing lines of code in 10 years.

Exercise makes me irritable and miserable. I've tried large amounts and medium amounts, obvs small amounts are included in daily life. My kids are similarly effected. One size does not fit all.

If you are going to do this it's best to advertise that fact in your job ads. You want people who like to operate in that atmosphere in return for something - promotion, perk or vision. Otherwise you just get high churn rate and poor productivity.

Welcome to the archetypal mind of the conservative. When your axiom is "the current order is just and appropriate" then unconsciously every data point aligns to that principle. The wealthy are good and deserve thier advantage. The poor are bad and they deserve their disadvantage. The outcast or morally abhorrent as they stand opposed to the just order. It's nuts, but that's how they think. They are literally Slytherin and proud of it. It's an insanely dangerous mindset and we should call them out for it. It naturally creates a wall between in group and out group. Any ideology that fosters such division should be fought against. The future, if we are to have one must foster the expansion of our empathy, not it's contraction. It's literally the fight between good and evil. For both sides and from both perspectives. There can be no reconciliation or melding of views. Yin and Yang, light and dark. The internet has laid bare this basic divide and there is a war coming in America. Maybe even a literal war.

Completely disagree with 2. Look up AIXI. It looks and feels to me like a completely plausible and mathematically grounded theory of intelligence. One principle aspect of the theory is that it allows you to see that intelligence is merely compression. This is the origin of the Hutter prize. Compression is almost the same thing as prediction, look into the math. Llms are prediction machines. Predicting the next word isn't some stupid goal it's exactly what you need to do to build an intelligent machine.

Look at the trajectory, not where we are. S curve, yada, yada. Sure it may top out and we will be left with something that many will argue is not AI. But on the other hand the curve may continue and it will be GAI. I don't see any sign of it topping out yet.

There is no route to making money with these plugins. You have to get the users onto your website, sign-up, part with money, then go back to gptchat. It's really hard to make that happen, this is going to be much more useful for existing businesses adding functionality to existing projects. Or random devs just making stuff. Making fast money out of it, it seems v difficult.

I'd not heard this on my tpot. But I absolutely agree, the ground is moving so fast and the power is so centralised that the only thing to do is spin up quickly make money, rinse and repeat. The seas will calm in a few years and then you can, maybe, make a longer term proposition.
