I has happened, but supabase has a history of keeping things open source and Turso keeping its sqlite-focused mission is the plan.

Or maybe those engineers are just not motivated by the same things you are. Or maybe they know something you don't - that deskilling is real and if you keep pulling the magic slot machine lever, eventually you won't be able to tell when it's lying to you. And oh does it. Maybe you just never had those skills in the first place.
