I've made near real-time sync of Apple Notes to the cloud.
Every change to a note is exported as markdown and synced as a new version to my git-based cloud storage.
Demo: https://sublimated.com/docs/guides/apple-notes/apple-notes-s...
In the last few years I've built several tools to work with Apple Notes: montaigne.io (apple notes to website) and various exporters (alto.index and notes exporter app), but
sublimated.com is the fastest and most magical — all changes are versioned, and notes get collaboration features like sharing and commenting.
The web app is at sublimated.com. The macOS app handles the sync:

this looks very cool!
i'm thinking how come we have tools like dropbox that are optimized for non technical people, GitHub for developers and now artifacts for agents.
they all do the same thing: version files.
why we cannot have one system that all types of users can use!
trying to make something myself here https://sublimated.com
and it works both for non technical peoplle, dev and agents via git protocol.

very cool. I think I use many of those patterns in my repos. But I think having more standardized way is interesting.I will see if I can fit it in at my project https://sublimated.com/ that also have some opinions how to make git even more agents friendly.

The most interesting challenge to me is the transition path in practice: how do you get from the messy reality to that clean ideal picture when a team is already mid-project with their own ingrained habits and tooling preferences?
-
so what tools team uses now? than the answer can be more concrete

yeah, that is exactly what i do to create in the repo. i will try to create simple github actions that will do publishing to gdocs, linear and pulling comments from those systems back(and maybe even slack). an obviously it should work with other systems too like JIRA and confluence. but i think implementation shouldn’t be hard part and anyone can do custom one quickly
