He says ge jacked up the car to give less friction. The wear should be mininimal as no actual cornering forces are involved, which are suprisingly large, ofren exceeding the weight of the car in (momentary) lateral force. While this will still cause some wear, it is negligible. I would imagine the ideal would involve a force feedback module and completely lifting the wheels from contact. Perhaps even utilizing the cars own electric power steering.

Its a psychological thing. Cuta down on shoplifting, makes you more apt to buy something if you have to pass the same persone coming in and going out, etc. They would not hire them if it did not bolster the bottom line.

The visual pollution of signs, cameras, vans, and vandalism has increased as a direct result, as are costs for maintanice, and constant replacement of said cameras and tracking systems. It really seems more like a tax on the poor, and an attempt at social control rather than an ecological concern, based upon its implementation. To call it unpopular would greatly undersell common sentiment. Google ulez blade runners for some interesting takes.

People died as a result of these 'protests'. As much as I agree with the message, the medium is dispicable and only brings hate from those we should be seeking to convince. The people decrying these charges are out of touch, to put it mildly. Alienaring those you need to accomplish your goal is not a virtue.

Can confirm this is the norm in machine shops. I encounter systems running dos, 3.1, 95, 2k and mostly XP constantly. I rather prefer the old dos systems of the obsolete stuff. Less variables. It is easier and more reliable to freeze the tech in time than it is to manage updates.

If people value living in an area, the price goes up until supply and demand are similar. Those with less to spend have many other options. Nobody is owed a specific home. To say otherwise would ignore the huge benefit of immigration.
