This is great! The sounds and visuals are a great way to recenter. Only UX thing I’d say, is it would be nice, and less distracting, if other “users/koi” popping in instead kind of faded in. Them suddenly appearing kind of pulls you out of the zen mode. Awesome idea!

Ive been struggling to get frontend/backend aware claude code working in a way I like. So are you saying you plan it out with the parent one, and then have it output a file in some format that you then pass to the frontend and backend claude’s individually? but those “sub claudes” don’t actually have the other repo’s context?

This is fascinating. I had a period where I was really trying to be able to lucid dream but never could. It’s interesting that this sounds so much like my normal dreams, but just adding that you do realize it’s a dream. I didn’t think it would be so similar.

Were you able to tie it to a credit card? Last time I tried it only let me do a debit card, which was a bummer, since I prefer using credit.

are there any object detection models? we went with apple to use CoreML, which works great, but this is cool. Running the pytorch version of our model took way to long for inference.

So I’ve been into mechanical keyboards for about two and a half years now. Here’s how I would roughly rank layout changes I’ve tried

1. Split or unibody split 2. Moving to a smaller form factor (40% keyboard) so that my fingers don’t move nearly as far from the home row) 3. Ortholinear on a non-split board

I’ve tried ortholinear alone, ortho on split, and row staggered on split. I feel like split is the most improvement in comfort for me in general. But, on a split board I do prefer ortho, if that helps. On a non-split board, I’m not sure ortho has a huge effect for me, I use both regularly and don’t notice a big difference.

I honestly may even rank 40% boards as number one, because of how useful having numbers and symbols so close to or on the homerow is for comfort.

So anyway, those are my two cents from my experience

I’m still very early in my career, but I went straight from my bachelors to working in ML Engineering at a startup. I think it depends what type of ML job. If it’s heavy in research, I imagine a PhD would be much more important. We’re doing some research in terms of building some new models, but good portion of my job is on the infrastructure, pipelining, side of things.

Just throwing out as a thought, but as an alternative you could spend a minute putting it for sale online where someone would come pick it up, or even just put it up for free so someone that may need it more can get it. It can be a very quick process, especially with smaller things like that. You might even be able to just throw it on the porch when they say they’re coming.

What sync method are you using in Obsidian. I’ve been using iCloud and i’ve had files dissapearing.. I love everything else about it though

The few that I’ve tried allow you to export all of your passwords, and import from various formats. So most of the time you’d be able to export from one and import it directly onto another
