This used to be by biggest annoyance with iOS, it no longer is. Now my app search does not work properly after iOS 26 update and that has been literally making this phone harder to use.

Instead of setting Pi-hole as router-wide DNS, this post shows how to use Tailscale DNS so Pi-hole applies only to selected devices.
This gives you network-wide filtering for your devices without router specific hassle.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised with Tailscale, and by how much functionality it offers even on the free plan.

I am working on a very simple browser extension that allows you to take notes right on youtube. It is open source, offline and everything is locally stored.
Here are the links.
Chrome store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/video-notes/phgnkid...
Firefox store: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-notes-f...
I actually would love some feedbacks and suggestions from someone here :)

I built a Chrome extension to take timestamped notes while watching YouTube.
I learn a ton from YouTube, but taking notes with timestamps was always annoying so I built a simple extension for that.
It's just a simple extension (plain HTML, CSS, JS). Everything is stored locally in your browser — no account, no sync.
60-second demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOi7xQ8DLpo
Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/video-notes/phgnkid...

> We want to make sure that if you download an app, it’s truly from the developer it claims to be published from, regardless of where you get the app. Verified developers will have the same freedom to distribute their apps directly to users through sideloading or through any app store they prefer.
This makes no sense at all.

I have been testing both Claude code and Codex CLI for the past few weeks and I found codex output to be better than claude.
I like how Claude code is more advanced in terms of CLI functionality but I prefer Codex output (with model high)
If you do not want to pay for both, then you can pick anyone and go with it. I don't think the difference is huge.
