I am wondering why Rust in particular made it simpler to use the code or template into another app. That kinda seems like something most languages can achieve.

Sometimes the phone would reboot immediately after getting root so that you could do something useful like installing recovery, but maybe something has changed.

There are other brands like Viture to consider which have more support for the limited software solutions out there. Make sure you do some looking into whether they are compatible with your setup. Or if any of the various features will work without buying additional hardware from the manufacturer.
