Similar story here. There was a crypto scam ad including "Libra" and AI produced Mark Zuckerberg video where he was pitching how he would distribute some of his wealth etc.
Reported it, it got reviewed and it got denied. They kept the ad.

Rather than this particular "magic" material, LK99, in the original paper(s), authors propose their theory on why this material is behaving the way it is. This is a totally new way for achieving superconductivity in room conditions. If it is confirmed to be true, scientist can try to create similar materials with similar lattice structures focusing on what's needed, rather than focusing on LK99.
Even if LK99 may not, one of the materials with similar properties they will create may be easy to produce and robust to use.

Happy to hear it worked out well for you. My point isn't to dismiss military as a career.
It's more about if you are a teenager deciding to join military because you believe the things a psyops egirl on TikTok told you, it's very likely that a series of disappointments is awaiting for you there on top of the opportunity cost of your wrong choice.

I find it either so naive or just to be a self-relaxing attempt to blame the gamer instead the game itself. Attacking and blaming those individuals or those patciular campanies which play the game as the rules are set, have always been easier than criticising corny capitalism we are living in.
Virtue signaling over individuals or particular companies like this have always been a comfortable spot to be rather than trying go for the real reasons such as crony capitalism indeed is incentivizing everyone in the game to drop everything else but just what's written in the law related to morals or anything about being a human and just focus on the profit.
In most of the times those individuals know all the rules they are given so good that they even calculate the penalties if they break them and they do so if breaking them is more profitable than paying for them.
Yet we the people working under this rule feeling so accomplished pointing at fingers to those while all we do is distracting ourselves and everyone else from the real reasons not realizing doing so is just the same thing as sending "thought and prayers" to the ones who lost their jobs and mostly lost about their future, at least for a while.

It is an obvious fact that majority of ivy league school students are coming from rich families. My argument is rather that (again with zero data to back it up) even if the ratio of full scholarship to full fee students is around 20%, a big majority of the ones who pursue an academic career (and become a professor) are the ones who got into those schools via scholarship in the first place while the rich kids mostly go back to running their family business or aiming for high paying jobs immediately after their graduation.

Not sure in what context the word "elite" is used when it comes to claiming there is a hiring bias. It may be thought that those schools have very high fees to attend but I would argue/claim (with no data in my hand) if it was looked deeper into their background, it is very likely that majority of those professors attended those schools via a sort of scholarship to start with as a result of their success prior to universities they got accepted.
Therefore, although "elite" indicates mainly a social class, majority of those people are very likely coming from mid-class families and they just happen to have a good academic record.
With that in mind, I wouldn't call this a bias but just a normal and beneficial outcome of the academic system.

That's still possible to do on Android as long as the app allows for that. For example when you compose e new email in Gmail Android app, it starts as a new instance/app and you can split screen, so that you can go through other emails on top half while writing a new email at the bottom half, which is pretty handy when you try to refer to some other email or to fetch some info from another email.

Smart contracts + decentralized storage is a great idea but since the beginning to this date, IPFS has been totally unreliable/unstable for me. Whenever I try to load a web page hosted on IPFS or whatever app which uses IPFS as backend (e.g. audios), 80% chance it simply doesn't load.
I just hope this update addresses stability issues as well as introducing smart contracts.

This whale is probably so angry right now because they ruined his/her plan causing him/her million of dollars.
1) Find an opportunity to drive the price of SOL down due stupid DeFi design lacking 101 Economy knowledge.
2) Go short on SOL
3) Use the opportunity to cause a slippage of 46% in price which further triggers chain liquidation which causes the price even to go further down and most likely cause Solend to shut down creating more and more panic sell.
4) Make crazy profit.
Solend to call themselves "decentralized" now is just a joke.
