How can an interrupt forever-lock a simple synchronization primitive? Surely the situation has to be more complicated than that. Like several semaphores deadlocking due to a state mutation by an interrupt.

I'm from the group of people that do switch based on technical merits. I remember a few years back I gave it a try and there were a few usability issues with it. Small things here and there not working, annoyances too small to remember. I've since then always discarded the idea of switching based on that. I have to give it another spin, maybe things have improved in the last few years.

My name is Peter and me and my coworkers created Estimake.it to generate pretty quotes for our customers.

One common issue we've had is that lots of people will request quotes/estimates for work while very few of them will consider paying for the time it takes to estimate the efforts required to develop their software. So we decided to make something that will help speed up that process.
