But why focus on the car only? To me it would be interesting to know where has the driver got the driver license from. Or if they have a medical condition. Or maybe they have a stiff neck on the day of the accident. Were they distracted by children?
I’m probably failing to see the difference between Peugeot 208 or Renault 5 being involved in an accident. What insights could one expect from this info?

> without the pseudocontroller
I am making an assumption. I assume that you mean the deployment. The deployment is responsible for individual pods. If a pod goes away, the deployment brings a new pod in. The deployment controls individual pods.
To answer your question: yes, you can simply create pods without the deployment. But then you are fully responsible for their lifecycle and failures. The deployment makes your life easier.

Your original post:
> That's to do with (inter)national regulations, regulations which can be changed by politicians. Pilots can choose another career if they dislike being monitored at their jobs. There will be other people willing to become pilots.
You haven’t asked any questions and haven’t made any argument. If you want to have a discussion, make an attempt at having a discussion.
The “if they don’t like it they can go and others will come” is the same populist argument Musk and Trump use all the time. Zero attempt at understanding why things are the way they are.
By the way, tell me where I throw insults around.

It was flown by an autopilot before the pilot fainted. As it was after they brought him back. My sarcastic response to this line is “I fucking hope it was, imagine the mess if it didn’t”.
The main problem is, there was one guy in the cockpit.

Look, even if it gets a lot of things right it’s still trickery.
I get popcorn and wait for more work coming my way 5 years down the road. Someone will have tidy this mess up and gen-covid will have lost all ability to think on their own by then.
