Honestly makes sense. For our app there are different actions a user might want to take first so having a checklist instead of forcing an order is better.

hah, our original idea for Nimbalyst was just for it to be a better desktop markdown editor. Once we were able to get red/green diffs working in rendered markdown which made it much easier to work with AI it evolved into a full agentic work/coding environment.

I'm not an expert on ML vision, but I do have a Tesla and it seems to be able to tell how far away things are just fine. I'm not sure what would be wrong with the vision system that lidar needs to fix.

If you use Claude Code in Nimbalyst it tracks every file change for you and gives you red/green diffs for your session.

This tweet claims that it is suspicious that a bot ran by someone who makes an ai-to-ai messaging app would propose an ai-to-ai messaging app, but that is exactly what I would expect to happen. Does not seem to be evidence of any fakery.

I, for one, have found this censorship helpful.

I've been testing adding support for outside models on Claude Code to Nimbalyst, the easiest way for me to confirm that it is working is to go against a Chinese model and ask if Taiwan is an independent country.

Very cool, it is so easy to get lost in Excel formulas and I am amazed that something like this hasn't been built into Excel already!

I promise I only self promote when it is relevant, but this is exactly what I am building https://nimbalyst.com/ for.

We build a user-friendly way for non-technical users to interact with a repo using Claude Code. It's especially focused on markdown, giving red/green diffs on RENDERED markdown files which nobody else has. It supports developers as well, but our goal is to be much more user friendly than VSCode forks.

Internally we have been doing a lot of what they talk about here, doing our design work, business planning, and marketing with Claude Code in our main repo.

Hello Hacker News. The four of us have been getting the best results with Claude Code when we iterate with it to build full context and then use and update that context as we work. So, we built Nimbalyst to maximize our (and your) ability to iterate and build context with and for AI.

Nimbalyst is the local WYSIWYG editor and session manager where you iterate with Claude Code on docs, diagrams, mockups, and code.

Nimbalyst lets you:

- Use all the power of Claude Code in a UI

- Work with Claude Code to write and edit WYSIWYG markdown, see AI changes as red/green, approve them

- Integrate mermaid diagrams, text, tables, mockups, and images in standard markdown for human/AI context

SWE bench is weird because Claude has always underperformed on it relative to other models despite Claude Code blowing them away. The real test will be if Gemini CLI beats Claude Code, both using the agentic framework and tools they were trained on.

The fact that Amazon hit it big twice under him (retail and then web services) speaks volumes. Hard to pretend he just got lucky.
