Psilocybin has always made me not want to drink for extended periods of time after use. Always saw that as a great benefit.

We already have more % population in jail than any other country. Mostly for drugs. The social cost is much less for getting in trouble for drugs in the US, but the incarceration rate is really high.

There is someone renting a room around Mount Fuji on AirBNB that advertises themselves as a systems engineer with fiber in the middle of the woods. Sounded like a great place to work to me!

Cyber crime definitely exists without incompetence.

Defense is a costly vast landscape compared to attacking. Sure incompetence causes issues and major drives my blood pressure, but the problem doesn’t go away if incompetence goes away.

Only reason I still have a nvidia card is the VR issues. Unless it’s been fixed recently they can’t compete in high end VR.

I’d like my data to stay local.

I probably don’t need cloud processing for any regular usage.

The privacy to life benefit equation is broken in society atm.

This will change.
