I thought type hints in Python were dumb until I combined them with VSCode. Holy cow the autocomplete and tool tips are incredible, there’s no way I could go back.

Agree the kibi- mebi- etc is more clear and resolves a lot of the confusion. Better yet would be to drop the base 2 measures entirely.

Lots of great tax advice here. But 45k MRR is far from FU money. Think creatively about whether there are ways you could grow the business. Going from 45k->90k should be a lot easier than 0k->45k.

Do you feel worse after sleeping generally? Two causes I know of this 1) sleep apnea, 2) grinding/clenching/TMJ issues. The second one was a huge problem for me over the past 10+ years, manifesting vaguely as “fatigue” similar to what you describe. I finally found a solution about 1.5 years ago that has allowed me to reclaim about 25% of my waking hours that I was losing to this condition. I’m not 100% where I’d like to be but it’s been a huge game changer. I recommend taking this very seriously and pursuing answers on a weekly basis until you find something that works. And realize that chronic pain can manifest as chronic fatigue.

Five whys is a good technique if you are in a position to truly apply it. Most people are heavily incentivized not to ask the right questions. So it can become yet another kabuki process quite easily.

Yes. Backend dev is “clean” relatively speaking, which is why most devs prefer it. Frontend you will always be dealing with someone else’s obscure framework.
