<p>I wonder if they didn't bundle Doom with Windows 95 because, by those days' standards, it was a pretty scary and violent game, and they didn't want to deal with any possible backlash?</p>

<p>I mean yeah, that's cool as a fun project. And I've also heard about a project that used accelerometers as microphones for surveillance. And while it's doable, even the cheapest crappiest mic would do a much better job at recording sounds for whatever is your goal.</p>

<p>I voted "yes" for Antarctica, because that is the only place I'm confident about.<p>But seriously, I don't think this website solves the problem of knowing "which countries you can simply leave your laptop at a Starbucks, and where you can't".<p>It's just a rough indicator of percepted crime rate among a nation.</p>

<p>I wish they actually standardised the USB-C with actual data transfer and charging protocols inside, not just the physical shape of the port. It's a total mess these days. Why PD and QC are even different protocols? Why there are USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and then there are 3.2 gen 1 and 3.2 gen 2? And what about Thunderbolt?</p>
