Interestingly, that link seems to say it was created for the opposite reason, that is, Intel was frustrated that Microsoft wasn't taking full advantage of their CPUs, not that bloat was steadily increasing.

During Covid we were selling medical PPE on Shopify and they shut us down, along with lots of other people. We weren't price gouging or doing anything shady either.

Instead we setup our own site and were quickly getting large orders for 1 million+ masks per week from big box stores and hospital groups.

They "fixed" that by implementing multiple conflicting and optional experimental extensions that may or may not randomly be supported by your particular WM/DE, and may or may not be DE-specific protocols in the first place.

The judicidial branch, so the courts. The government would have to sue the corporation to try to get them to do something, at which point (hopefully) the judge would strike it down.
