I host my music on an Unraid box on my home LAN, use Plex+Plexamp to serve and access it, and 1000% recommended Plex+Plexamp. It is, without a doubt, the best music app I've used on a phone, including other self-hosting solutions, local apps like Poweramp, and commercial streaming apps like Spotify. I really can't speak of it highly enough.

I generally agree though barely stayed with Pixel+GOS after my last Pixel refused to turn on after plugging it in before a nap, leaving me with a totally bricked phone, no way of recovering local data on the device, and a $100 bill to replace it since the screen was cracked - despite it being dead because of manufacturer defects, and a broken screen having no bearing on it's death.
If I wasn't such a fan of GrapheneOS, I would have ditched Pixel so fast.

> almost everything folks want is legally available on a streaming service for cheap or no-charge
The majority of TV shows and movies that I watch are unavailable on streaming services. I know there's some more specialty streaming services for film these days, but besides that, it seems like its mostly well-known classics, anything mainstream from the past 20 years, or new releases that are available.
I solely credit piracy for enabling my appreciation of film and TV. I was never a big fan of either until I got access to a huge catalog and started watching classics that are not popular enough for streaming services to pickup.

You know, I actually actively dislike Discourse's UX. I've always found there to be a cognitive load to usage that I never found with PhpBB, other older forum software, or Reddit.
I think my issue with it has to do with too clean of a UI, not enough visual hierarchy, delineation between post replies, etc.

DXM is one of a few dissociative compounds besides Ketamine that I feel should be further studied for psychological and emotional benefit, the most important, in my opinion, being Methoxetamine (MXE).
If anyone that has any pull is reading this, do trials with MXE. It's Ketamine on steroids.

Like most dissociatives, it is unpleasant until it "clicks".
Once it clicks, it is just as pleasurable as Ketamine, Methoxetamine, and other related ACHs.
One major difference between DXM and K is that DXM is quite stimulating whereas K is rather subdued and relaxing. If you don't have dissociative experience besides Ketamine, I'm not surprised that trying DXM after K would lead to an unpleasant experience.

How much have you used DXM? It's not deliriant-esque in it's effects at all, IME. While having notable differences in a few secondary aspects of it's effects profile, a majority of it's effects are classic arylcyclohexylamine dissociative effects.
Context: I've used a large amount of DXM as well as numerous ACH dissociatives.

Sunlight has tons of red and infrared light (red and near infrared have mostly the same effects on cells, the main difference being penetration distance).
Light is ridiculously important for mitochondrial health, and that effect on mitochondria is one of the main reasons sunlight is so necessary for optimal health. Fun fact, 75% of potential ATP production only results from light exposure, with only 25% from food. We run on light more than we do food (necessary nutrients and minerals aside).
